A few months ago I watched with my English class a film named The Shawshank Redemption. The Shawshank Redemption is an American drama film written and directed by Frank Darabont. The film is based on the story of Tim Robbins. Tim Robbins is in the film Andy Dufresne. Andy Dufresne is a banker, who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State. But he was accused for the murder of his wife and her lover, even though he did nothing. Over a long time he befriends a fellow prisoner named smuggler Ellis Redding. The film has many head characters one of the head characters is Ellis Redding who is in real life Morgan Freeman. Morgan Freeman is born at June 1 in 1937. He is an American actor, producer, and narrator. Freeman has received Oscar nominations for his performances in Street Smart, Driving Miss daisy and The Shawshank RedemptionTimothy Francis Robbins is born at October 16 in 1958. And he is an American actor, screenwriter, director, producer, and musician. He is also well known for his portrait of Andy Dufresne in the prison drama film The Shawshank Redemption.

Ellis Redding was been twenty years in the prison of Shawshank. He is known as the man who knows to get things. Andy asked Ellis Redding to smuggle a hammer for his hobby of rock collecting and shaping. At the prison their is a gang that rape the prisoners. As a way of avoiding the gang. Andy takes up a job tarring the roof of a nearby factory. While working he hears the captain of the guards, Byron Hadley. He was complaining about a tax. And Andy saw an opportunity to help the captain because he was a banker. After Andy was known about his financial help. Norton offers Andy a position working in the prison library, where the better help guards of the prison and Norton with their financial concerns. There Andy takes an interest in improving the library and helping his fellow prisoners. After a long time a new prisoner came to the prison and his name is Tommy Williams becomes a friend of Ellis Redding and Andy. Andy helps Tommy learn to read and get a diploma. 

When Andy learns tommy to read. Tommy knows the person who actually killed Andy’s wife and her lover. Is Andy now seeing a way to freedom? Is Andy escaping out of the prison? if you want to know how the story ends. Go and watch the film!! My opinion about this film is that the film had a experienced story’s. The film is brilliant and fantastic. This film is one of the best films that I’ve ever seen in my life. I will recommend the film for people above the 18 years.
